Spanish moss dancing and swaying
Three hawks, two crows, and an ibis
Fighting for possession of the top of a tree

A refuse truck banging down the Street
A dog barking three times
Chirps and eeks and awks and
the high-pitched whir of a pump

Refuse (ri-fyooz) and refuse (ref-yooz)
are spelled the same way
One is denial, the other rubbish,
both are rejected and repelled

If you freeze a number (nuhm-ber)
it will get no number (nuhm-er)

Their, there, and they’re
All three sound alike
One is possession,
the second where something exists,
The third is a contraction of them
and the third plural present of be

There is no synonym for cinnamon
