Tumbling Through The Twilight
Green from an endless tumbling through the twilight Diligently uncovering all that is right Discovering what's lost was placed in plain sight Within the darkness lies a powerful light
Rehearsing affirmations is an honest path A moral reckoning reconciles the math Like a artisan always honing his craft Or a Sherlock IDing the source of the laugh
Just below the surface of a toughened skin Is a child refusing to let anyone in Aghast at the uncloaking of secret sin Revealing that sorrow lurks behind the grin
Virility exposed as just another mask A magical potion hidden in a flask Unnecessary excuses feigned and crass Anger overflowing, reaching critical mass
Denial is often nullified by confession Acceptance becomes the next right action A changed life is so much better than none I'm coming to my senses and calling it done
