I Need To Get Back

I need to get back to a place 
where I can thrive
Where my thoughts flow freely 
and my spirit is alive

It’s less about my comfort 
and more about being known
Able to absorb the trauma 
and convey what I’ve been shown

By passing through the healing 
and the joyous side of trials
And seeing hardship has purpose 
and peace won't fit in vials

My need to get back to 
sound and vision is finally realized

and empathic wisdom is utilized
