Lord, am I ready? Can you use me? Is my attitude acceptable? Is my devotion a sweet aroma? Can I carry your cross as Simon of Cyrene did? Can I bow at your feet, wash them with my tears, and anoint them with precious ointment from an expensive jar? Will any sacrifice I make prove sufficient to receive your righteousness?
Do others see my love for you? Does my passion demonstrate my adoration? Who knows my dedication is inspired by you? Does my witness spur others to cast their eyes on you? Can a life lived differently arouse a stirring in other people’s hearts?
No matter the answers to these queries, all things are possible with God. Through you, Jesus, all things are made new. Your spirit, your light, and your life all dwell in me. No shortfall, mistake, or inadequacy stands up to your victory over my life. In your presence, I stand tall, brave, and free. With your blessing, I have overcome my foolish past, the world’s bombardment of blows and setbacks, and the enemy’s darts, arrows, accusations, condemnations, deceptions, and lies. By your blood, I am covered and by your stripes, I am healed. By your resurrection, I am made alive. By your intercession, all my prayers are answered. By your love, I know mercy and grace.
